Thief Symbols and Markings
Rogues and dungeon dwellers often use symbols to help provide guidance and direction. A symbol can be used to provide simple directions, aid in avoiding traps and other dangers, or provide information on the location of treasure and other valuables. A DM can choose to use these symbols only by thieves, or by any adventurer (DM's discretion). This page provides over 50 symbols, and shows those symbols on various backgrounds to be used in your campaign.
