You create the image of an object, a creature, or some other visual phenomenon no larger than a 20' Cube. The image appears at a spot you can see within range. It seems real, including sounds, smells, and temperature, but it can't deal dmg.

If in range, you can take a Magic action to move the image to any other spot (in range). As the image changes location, you can alter its appearance so its movements appears natural. You can also cause the illusion to make different sounds at different times, even making it carry on a conversation.

Physical interaction with the image reveals the illusion (things pass through it). A creature can takes a Study action to examine the image with an Int (Investigation) check against your spell save DC. Success: the creature discerns the illusion for what it is. See PHB for full details.
At Higher Levels
The spell lasts until dispelled, without requiring Concentration, if cast with a level 4+ spell slot.
